On-Air Host / Personality

The On-Air Host represents Radio Milwaukee’s voice in the community by introducing programs and music, reading promotional copy and public service announcements, and contributing to station social-media initiatives. The person in this role will maximize audience acceptance and ratings by effectively projecting the station’s desired on-air image in a professional manner while performing the required technical functions of assigned air-shift. Internship (Fall 2025)

We're seeking current students excited about the future of public media, nonprofit development, and community engagement within and beyond Milwaukee. Interns will receive assignments that allow them to gain practical skills through active participation in various departments, including programming, underwriting, development, promotions, production, content, operations and marketing.

For fall 2025, we’re looking for two interns: one for our Development Department whose focus will support nonprofit financial processes, membership growth and fundraising; and one who will serve in a cross-departmental capacity for programming, development, events and other areas of the organization.
