The Volunteer Center of Milwaukee makes it easy for anyone to volunteer simply by providing an online service that essentially connects volunteers to opportunities throughout the city. The program connects non-profitswith either individual, group, family, or even corporate volunteer teams.
I sat down with Volunteer Center Manager Bonnie Andrews and she broke down the steps it takes to become a volunteer, Milwaukee's volunteerism statistics and why volunteerism has a large impact throughout our city.
