Sound Travels on Sunday was a return to my roots. As in the fact that when I started DJ-ing back in 1999, it was reggae that was my thing. This weekend's preamble to the live get-down was just that, a roots reggae mixtape featuring some golden goodies from a very crucial time in Jamaica; when Rasta ran the scene and socially-conscious lyrics were the rage.
Speaking of Sunday, thanks to everyone who came out and packed the house for another dope night of music. Dj Trichrome did not make it and had to reschedule, but DJ's Trini, Avets and myself work the sound and everybody got down. Nuff respect, nuff said.
