New Digs for Habitat's ReStore

It's much more than a thrift store -- click the player for a tour of the new Habitat For Humanity ReStore in Walker's Point.

The Habitat For Humanity ReStore is asking for your donations during the month of February at its new Walker's Point location.

It's part of its "Stock the Store" drive, an effort to increase inventory ahead of the March 2 grand opening.

The ReStore, located at 420 S. 1st Street, formerly Benjamin Moore Paints, stocks more than a typical thrift store.  From furniture and home goods, to appliances, cabinets and sinks, the ReStore has just about everything you'd need to tackle a home improvement project.

And it's a non-profit.

Every dollar raised at the ReStore goes right back into Habitat's mission, supporting home builds around Milwaukee.  Prices are discounted at least 50 percent below retail.

The ReStore is accepting donations in-person at the store, but representatives can also come to you to pick up larger items.

Here are some of the items the store accepts--
