On November 14, we launched a new quarterly Member Music Movie series as a benefit (free) for our Members! The first screening was ‘ biophilia live.’ This was the only screening of this film in Wisconsin.
‘biophilia live’ is a concert film directed by Peter Strickland and Nick Fenton and produced by Jacqui Edenbrow that captures the human element of björk’s multi-disciplinary multimedia project: biophilia. recorded live at björk’s show at London’s Alexandra palace in 2013, the film features björk and her band performing every song on ‘biophilia’ and more using a broad variety of instruments – some digital, some traditional, and some completely unclassifiable.
This quarterly thank you event is reserved exclusively for our donors, and features music-themed movies curated by Tarik and Jordan. An Email invitation will go out to all active Members (anybody that has made a donation of any amount within the past 12 months), and the first 50 people to respond will be added to the guest list.
