Every morning throughout Summerfest 2026, we’ll deliver a guide that covers the day’s entertainment and how you can get in the gate free of charge. This is where you’ll find info about the AmFam Amp headliners, eclectic picks from our knowledgeable staff and the music lineup for the day (see the full 2026 Summerfest lineup here).

Today at the AmFam Amp

Don Toliver w/Sahbabii, Che, Sofaygo, Sosocamo, Chase B, Lelo, 7 p.m.

The second annual Juneteenth partnership between Summerfest and Northcott Neighborhood House is toplined by Don Toliver, the Houston rapper who got on everyone’s radar with 2020 single “Lemonade” and never left. He’s been on tracks with SZA, Nas, Eminem, Kid Cudi, Justin Bieber and Travis Scott, who signed him to his Cactus Jack label. Toliver’s fifth studio effort, Octane, came out in the early days of 2026 and debuted at the top of Billboard’s top 200 albums list.

Radio Milwaukee staff pick #1

Father John Misty @ Generac Power Stage, 9:30 p.m.

Returning to Summerfest for the first time since his 2019 visit with Jason Isbell, Father John Misty’s shows are often described as a spiritual experience for fans. The indie-folk singer is known for theatrical and genre-jumping sets, with the occasional cover sprinkled in. The poetic lyricism of his music and the energy of his concerts set the tone for the summer: an introspective yet mystical way to ease into the season.

Radio Milwaukee staff pick #2

Amyl & The Sniffers @ Miller Lite Oasis, 10:30 p.m.

Amyl & The Sniffers get their name from the chemical that makes the drug known as “poppers,” and I gotta say: This band sounds like what an intense upper feels like — euphoric and a little bit dizzying. Or so I’ve heard.

I don’t think I’m alone in enjoying Amyl & The Sniffers' brand of taking the ethos and limit-pushing nature of electroclash musician Peaches and mixing in some punk energy, as if it were all brewed up in a double-wide trailer’s makeshift chemistry lab. Their latest album, Cartoon Darkness, is hella dope and a little bit sexy in that found-a-magazine-in-the-woods sort of way.

Radio Milwaukee staff pick #3

VIAL @ Miller Lite Oasis, 4:30 p.m.

As someone who types things for a living, I’m predisposed to be annoyed by the recent trend in music to all-caps everything. That being said, Minneapolis indie-punk outfit VIAL come by those tall letters honestly. It’s reflexive to drop them into the riot grrrl bucket, but they can be punk, they can be hardcore, they can even be a touch nu-metal. Based on what they’ve done across their relatively brief career, it’s probably safer to just call them loud and fun.

— Brett Krzykowski
