This Saturday! Come for free -- or as VIP -- to 88Nine's Block Party
As part of our 10th anniversary celebrations, we're excited to host the 88Nine Block Party, presented by Educators Credit Union, outside of our Walker's Point home on Saturday, June 24. Join us for a day of food, art, community and most importantly, music!
FOOD
We're excited to welcome to following local food and beverage vendors: Comet Cafe, Cousins Subs, Fuel Cafe, La Masa, Meat on the Street, Merriment Social, Miller High Life, Pete’s Pops, Purple Door Ice Cream, Screaming Tuna and Stone Creek Coffee.
A variety of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options will be available at various booths. GF options will also be available for adult beverages seekers.

Several interactive art installations, designed by Workshop Architects, will be housed on the East side of Pittsburgh Ave.

The Latino Arts Mariachi Juvenil will kick off the day with a 1:30 p.m. performance. Marching drumlines Samba da Vida and Nei Phi Neph will surprise attendees throughout the day with parade-style performances.

A limited number of VIP tickets are available for purchase here. Block Party VIPs will have access to experiences inside the 88Nine building, indoor amenities and the VIP After Party. Learn more about the VIP experience.

Where should I park?
We encourage you to walk, bike or use public transportation or ride sharing to get to the 88Nine Block Party. We will have a temporary Bublr Bike station on the corner of Pittsburgh Ave and KK River Trail/S. Water St - and Bublr will be giving out codes for a free 30-Day passes to the first 100 people that Bublr to the pop-up station!
If you do plan to drive, we recommend parking in one of the Historic Third Ward Parking Structures.

Where is the main entrance?
The main entrance for the 88Nine Block Party is located on the East side of Pittsburgh Ave at its intersection with S. Water St.
Is the 88Nine Block Party handicap accessible?
Yes. We have done our best to ensure that the block party is accessible to all persons. A handicap portable restroom is available on Barclay St south of Pittsburgh Ave.
Is the 88Nine Block Party family friendly?
Yes. Children of all ages are all welcome at the 88Nine Block Party. All performers are family friendly and the 1:30 performance of the Latino Arts Strings Program was programmed with children in mind.
Is the 88Nine Block Party pet friendly?
Yes. All pets must be supervised and remain on leashes. Please be respectful of fellow attendees and pick up after your pet.
What can and can’t I bring in?
Feel free to bring in water bottles and umbrellas. Please leave chairs, blankets, coolers and outside food or beverage (besides water) at home.
Will food vendors and bars accept Credit Cards?
Most bars and all food vendors will accept credit cards. Two ATMs will be available on-site for convenience.
