This vibrant, family-friendly event will showcase an original animated short by Milwaukee artist Marz Ezeji, created in collaboration with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. Alongside the screening, we’ll host a community celebration featuring free food, workshops, resource tables, and a bilingual guide to local food access.

This event centers art, wellness, and food access as vital community resources. Featured at this year’s reception is the premiere of the “Artist Bites” animation and bilingual community resource guide, created by local animator Marz Ezeji. This original animation, available in English and Spanish, walks young people and their families through how to connect with food support services right in the Walker’s Point neighborhood.

Through creative workshops, wellness activities, and access to local organizations, this initiative aims to strengthen the network between community members and food security programs in Milwaukee. The resource guide highlights hyper-local services and offers a creative, welcoming way for residents to learn where to find support.
