Drawing Connections: Mini Alebrije Workshop
Join artist Ceci Tejeda to create mini alebrijes using “cartoneria,” a unique, traditional papier-mache technique from Mexico City. Alebrijes are brightly colored Mexican folk-art sculptures of fantastical creatures. Learn more about this traditional art form and make your own Alebrije.
After the workshop, explore Indivisible MKE’s annual The Art of Justice Show & Sale happening the same day on the second floor of the MCHS from 2:00pm-5:00pm.
