Offtide
Offtide is a Milwaukee-based Alternative/ indie/ psychedelic/ rock band formed by longtime local musicians Sam Balistreri, Matt Martell, and Alex Keimel in 023. After a mutual friend and bandmate passed away in 2023, the three picked up the pieces of their previous projects and mashed together to create Offtide. Drawing inspiration from a multitude of artists and genres including Interpol, My Morning Jacket, Tool, and more, Offtide is a product of pure passion that blends folk, shoegaze, and progressive rock to create a truly unique listening experience.
The Paper Flames
A joire de vivre is what transcends after The Paper Flames. This shoe-gazey/psych rock four piece hails from Milwaukee but their influences are vast, blending shoegaze with elements of garage psych to 60s rock, they create a sound of their own. Currently in the studio recording their first EP, The Paper Flames will definitely make an impression in the local music scene for years to come.
