Royal Mill + Meadowers + Addicus + BERMS
BERMS.
Born out of a love for the outdoors and adventure, BERMS. was started with one focus, to have fun. That's it.
The project, started by songwriter Aaron Wienss, came out of a love for songwriting in college. Wienss spent a majority of his early twenties writing and touring with the band Often Home who opened for bands such as Wildermiss, The Beths, Brother Elsey and many others. As the band members each started to head different directions, Wienss chose to carry on the music journey through the moniker BERMS.
With influences such as Lord Huron, Wilderado, Ben Rector and others. These fun-loving pop/rock songs will have you experiencing everything from the adrenaline of dropping in to your next big line to the restful peace of a night at home.
Addicus
Indie, power pop trio from Marquette, Michigan.
Meadowers
Meadowers is a four piece indie-rock band based in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Their music draws influence from artists such as Pinegrove, Death Cab For Cutie, The Hotelier, and Noah Gundersen. The band's songs are introspective and confessional, with syncopated and intentional arrangements. Meadowers’ guitar-driven songs, accompanied by an intricate rhythm section, are expressive and honest.
In 2022 Meadowers released their debut full-length album that covers a lot of ground. From early twenties insecurities, to new love, to existential angst, to questions of meaning. Meadowers aims to make something “real" and grounded in the shared human experience, and hopes to resonate in a meaningful way with their listeners.
Royal Mill
Combining pop sensibilities, slice-of-life lyricism, and indie rock musical themes, Royal Mill carves out a unique sound. The four-piece features a driving rhythm section that supports hook-filled vocal delivery and washy guitars. According to the Milwaukee Record’s review of their 2024 debut single - Falls Apart - the band is “equal parts infectious and emotive, with heaps of lyrical vulnerability while also being an earworm worthy of regular radio rotation.”
The band has released a slate of singles to start 2025, including “Keep It Down” and the exclusive 88.9 Radio Milwaukee premiere “Denim Jacket,” which build on the introspective, vulnerable lyricism. Royal Mill’s debut EP “slowly, all at once” is due April 2025.
