Slavic Folk Concert to Benefit Ukraine
The Balalaika and Domra Association of America (BDAA) annual Festival Concert brings together musicians from around the world to perform Slavic folk music on traditional instruments, including Ukrainian, Eastern European, Romani, and Klezmer tunes. The performance will feature an 80-piece folk orchestra with virtuoso soloists on balalaika and domra. This is the first time the BDAA will be performing in the Milwaukee area and is for one night only!
We are joined by balalaika soloist Nicolas Kedroff from Paris, domra soloist Angelina Galashenkova from St. Petersburg/Atlanta, and Victor Gorodinsky (from UW-Madison) as the orchestra conductor
