For cripes sakes, it's been a "Manitowoc minute" since Charlie Berens had a show in Milwaukee.
Welp, Wisconsin's favorite comedian will be back after a near two-year absence when he plays two shows at the Riverside Theater on Saturday, March 30, 2024.
Berens, who resides in Milwaukee, was last on a stage in the city for two shows at the Riverside in April 2022. Since then, he's continued his rise as one of the midwest's most revered funny people, amassing 2.8 million followers on Tiktok, 2.4 million on Facebook and another 860,000 on Instagram.
His 2023 "Good Old Fashioned" tour will take Berens just about everywhere in Wisconsin — including Westby, Whitewater, Bowler, Mineral Point, Manitowoc, Marshfield, Fish Creek, Reedsburg and Eau Claire — but not Milwaukee. Those hoping to see him back in the Good Land can secure tickets starting at $35.50 on Friday, Aug. 25 at 10 a.m. on the Pabst website. Tickets are available for a show at 7 p.m. and a second 9:30 p.m. show that was later added "due overwhelming to demand."
