We were absolutely thrilled to launch State of Sound last month, both for fans of Radio Milwaukee and live-music lovers. Musicians from the Milwaukee area ignited the stage at our Walker's Point studios throughout April, and we can't wait to show you what's to come in May.

May 4: TRUE Skool (various genres)
This date is special because of our partnership with TRUE Skool to bring you their 2023 Student Showcase Gallery featuring young, talented artists, musicians, dancers and more. The showcase will feature what the students have been working on this past school year.
May 11: The Oshi (hip-hop, R&B)
The Oshi is a Bajan-American rapper and producer who was part of Amplifier's inaugural class. She released her album Confidential in 2021 and was also featured on R3LL track “Fantasy,” which was written up by Billboard and EDM Network
May 18: Fellow Kinsman (indie rock)
I'm really excited to have the homies from FK hit our State of Sound stage. They dropped an awesome record called Where Were You in late 2022 and are now playing venues all over the region.
May 25: Emmitt James (jazz, hip-hop)
Emmitt James is coming back to Milwaukee from his adventures in Los Angeles, and we couldn't be more excited. This HYFIN Latest & Greatest artist brings us style, knowledge and love for the craft to the SOS stage before his special HYFIN Presents performance May 26 in the Back Room at Colectivo.
