The Argo in Whitefish Bay is ready to host its first comedy show this Wednesday, June 17, and they picked a great cause to go with a great lineup.
Headliner Charlie Berens will bring a collection of Milwaukee comedians — including Chastity Washington, Ryan Mason, Tyler Menz, Dana Ehrmann and Rachel Mac — to the new venue for “Ope! To End Alzheimer’s,” which will donate 100% of the show’s proceeds to the Wisconsin Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
I got the chance to chat with Washington and event organizer Amy Brophy Westrup about what they have planned for the show and how Alzheimer’s has personally affected many of the comedians on the bill.
