Milwaukee’s concert scene has a lot going on, so we look at the shows coming up to find the ones you’ll look back on and be glad you went. Then we add them to our weekly Milwaukee Concert Picks.
There are so many exciting shows to attend this week, but the overflowing feeling of generosity from one in particular makes it hard to pass up as the highlight.
Spider Creek, already a very inviting entity as a collective of artists, invited even more to share their sound with a wide, diverse audience at a very special space: Shank Hall. It's a historic venue to perform in, and and to have some very important Milwaukee up-and-coming acts bless that stage for a showcase this Friday is really cool.
The lineup promises an incredible night. Emmitt James just hit our stage for State of Sound and headlined the Back Room as part of HYFIN's Latest & Greatest series, plus music fans will get the chance to enjoy (and, for some of them, discover) the talented Clayton and Adrienne & Ash. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., with the show getting underway an hour later.
