The Milwaukee Talkees combine hometown pride and laughs to their funky sound
Tongue in cheek connoisseurs The Milwaukee Talkees are back with their latest album, "A Detailed Analysis of the Pocket." The follow up to their 2017 record "Sweet Blue Machine" is everything you'd expect from the funky jokesters.
The self-described "psychedelic roadhouse blues" band, which started over 15 years ago, combine their hometown pride with commentary on their every day (and relevant) observations, ornate lyricis, and erratic predicaments. With their lighthearted and humorous storytelling, they blend in classic funky bass tones, upbeat rock-style blues and a nostalgic disco beat reminiscent of a '70s car chase.
The new album was recorded and mixed by Mitchell Dries at NOW Recording in Portland, OR and mastered at Mystery Room Mastering. Listen to the album below.
