Fiserv Forum is debuting its own music festival, Chords & Curds, in August

Fiserv Forum has announced its own music festival. The Chords & Curds Festival will take place on arena’s plaza on Saturday, Aug. 24, with a lineup of Milwaukee music including the hip-hop/R&B collective New Age Narcissism, guitarist Angie Swan and R&B/soul singer Grace Weber.

“The Milwaukee Public Schools Community Gospel Choir will open the festival with a special performance, while guests can enjoy a special gospel brunch sold in the festival’s food village,” according to a press release. “Rounding out the all-day event’s musical lineup are jazz band Christopher’s Project, 10-piece Latin jazz ensemble De La Buena, jazz singer Misha Siegfried and DJ Avets.”

The event will also feature local artisans and food trucks. Admission will be $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12 and people over 65. For those who want to spend up, there will be $75 VIP tickets that include “a fast lane exclusive entrance into the festival, a private, air-conditioned area, brunch offered from noon to 3 p.m., dinner offered from 6 to 9 p.m., and unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks.”

“Milwaukee is home to a talented and robust community of local musicians, and we are proud to unveil this stellar line-up of local acts,” Fiserv Forum General Manager Raj Saha said in a statement. “Chords & Curds will not only showcase some of these gifted musicians, but also help foster future artists as the proceeds will benefit the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music.”

Tickets are available now at Ticketmaster.com and the Fiserv Forum Ticket Office. They can also be purchased at the Bucks location at the Wisconsin State Fair through Aug. 11.

  • 1-1:30 p.m.: The Midwest Mixer Dr. B 
  • 1:30-2:30 p.m.: Blues guitarist Misha Siegfried and His Band
  • 2:30-3 p.m.: DJ NuStylez 
  • 3-4 p.m.: Jazz band Christopher’s Project
  • 4-4:30 p.m.: DJ Bizzon 
  • 4:30-5:30 p.m.: R&B/soul singer Grace Weber
  • 5:30-6:30 p.m.: DJ set
  • 6:30-7:30 p.m.: De La Buena, a 10-piece Latin jazz ensemble
