Milwaukee artists to perform livestream benefit concert amid pandemic

Milwaukee artists Lex Allen and Zed Kenzo are performing a pop-up livestream charity concert tonight, March 13, to benefit Milwaukee artists affected by coronavirus cancellations.

Tune in at 7 p.m. on Facebook to watch the surprise concert live.

The virtual concert will raise funds for the MKE Artist Relief Fund, a new charity established today by Imagine MKE. The fund will provide "small grants for artists affected by disruptions due to the COVID-19 pandemic."

"As the full extent of the global COVID-19 pandemic continues to unfold, we know that the disruptions and cancellations to events and shows will impact our city's artists and creators," Imagine MKE said in a statement.

Mindpool Live will capture and stream the event.
