In times like these we could all use a pick-me-up, and few Milwaukee artists offer those as reliably these days as Lex Allen. Today the singer shared his latest single, a sumptuous neo-soul track that testifies to the importance of loving yourself.

"'Tangerine Daydream' is a (self) love story so sweet," Lex tells us. "Recorded in one take, it conveys the discovery for self love and how it prepared me to love someone else. Along with my producer Tim Wolf, we realized how much people would relate to the experience and the search for their complement."
