Earlier this month we shared the news that Bon Iver is planning three shows in Wisconsin cities the band has never performed before as part of a get out the vote initiative. In order to gain access to a pre-sale to those shows last week, fans had to pledge to vote.
Now we know who's opening for those shows. Justin Vernon has lined up three of Wisconsin's finest: Field Report will open for the band's La Crosse show, Zola Jesus for their Wausau show and WebsterX for their Appleton date, according to Bon Iver's Instagram.
Now here's the bad news: All three of those shows are sold out, according to the band's Facebook events page.
"Thank you for the overwhelming response to our Wisconsin shows - you bought all the tickets!" the band wrote on Instagram.
Wisconsin's spring primary is Tuesday, April 7.
