Local Natives has been pretty quiet since 2013's Hummingbird with the exception of a smattering of remixes and covers.
Recently, a few singles have been teased out and 88Nine Radio Milwaukee is happy to premiere another layer in advance of their third album, "Sunlit Youth" out September 9th on Loma Vista Recordings/Infectious Music.
The new track, "Coins," reveals a different side of the band with layers of plucked guitars, smooth bass, building synths and honey-dipped vocals.
