Shaddye's debut album boasts authenticity and transparency

At only 16 years old, Shaddye debuts with "My Life in a Boombox" and shows no signs of slowing down. The five-track compilation highlights the mature lyrical styling and impressive talent of the Milwaukee native and goes to show the incredible capacity in the next generation.
Shaddye was propelled by the support of various organizations and institutions, a clear example of the importance in the investment in youth and the arts. Specifically, "My Life in a Boombox" was made possible by a partnership between COA Youth and Family Centers and local producer Q the Sun with Milwaukee Public Schools and the Partnership for Arts and Humanities.

Throughout the EP, her rhythm is a melodic comfort that stresses honesty and transparency while seeming effortless and genuine. With complimentary backing that doesn't distract from the rapper/producer, the EP is a high-quality introduction that leaves us wanting more. Listen to the full thing below.
