'Weird Al' Yankovic will play an ill-advised vanity show at Milwaukee's Marcus Center next year

"Weird Al" Yankovic concerts tend to be elaborate affairs, complete with props, costumes and video screens. But in 2018 the musician and satirist flipped this script with his "Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour," instead performing stripped-back sets that focused mainly on his original songs rather than his more famous parodies.

Now he's doing it again. Next year Yankovic will launch a huge, 133-date tour called "The Unfortunate Return of the Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour," which will again see him mine his original material, playing a different set each night. And that tour will include a stop at Milwaukee's Marcus Center on May 24, 2022, according to his website.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 10, at 10 a.m. Yankovic's longtime best friend Emo Philips will open. More details about the show are available on Marcus Center's website.
