Thundercat announced an extensive North American tour Wednesday, which will include a stop in Milwaukee this summer.
The Grammy-winning artist will play The Rave Eagles Club August 23 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 6, at 10 a.m. The supporting act has not yet been announced.

His 2020 album “It Is What It Is” has won a Grammy for Best Progressive R&B Album. Highly respected and much in-demand with his peers, Thundercat has previously worked with the likes of Ariana Grande, Stevie Wonder, Kanye West, Travis Scott, Snoop Dogg, Pharrell Williams, Herbie Hancock, Stanley Clarke, Michael McDonald, Mac Miller, Childish Gambino, Suicidal Tendencies, Anderson.Paak, Erykah Badu, Wiz Khalifa and many more, in addition to his longtime writing partner Flying Lotus.
Thundercat released his most recent album, "It Is What It Is," in the spring of 2020. The record won Best Progressive R&B Album at the 63rd Grammy Awards and features musical contributions from Ty Dolla $ign, Childish Gambino, Lil B, Kamasi Washington, Steve Lacy, Steve Arrington, BADBADNOTGOOD, Louis Cole, Pedro Martins and Zack Fox. Thundercat produced the record with his longtime partner Flying Lotus, who was GRAMMY-nominated in the “Producer of the Year” category for his work on the album
