Our world has started to look a little different in the last week. Lots of us are working from home, taking care of kids, trying to get outside and, above all, experimenting with new ways of connecting with others despite being physically separated.
We love hearing from so many listeners that are tuning in and enjoying the music, stories and positivity.
We spent last week brainstorming, checking in with you and getting things ready and today, we’re starting phase two of shifting our airwaves to meet the new needs of our listeners, our city and our world.
Here’s what we came up with…
School of Rock, Weekdays 9-10 a.m.
Get your kids up, put away the tablets and sit them down in front of the radio. Dori Zori will teach them about the musicians that have shaped our world -- from Bowie to Bjork, Prince to Presley -- and, of course, fill the hour with lots of their music.
Let’s Hear It, Weekdays 12-1 p.m. & Saturdays 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
You spend your Saturday mornings requesting tunes from Marcus Doucette, why not spend your lunch hours, too?! Marcus will tell us the theme at the start of the midday show and then we leave it to you to call, text and Facebook in your requests.
Dine N’ Dance, Weekdays 5:20 p.m.
It’s going to be a little bit until we can have dance parties in person again, so we're hosting a virtual one every weekday at 5:20 as you're making dinner! We'll supply the tunes, you supply the moves. If you're feeling groovy, share the video with us by tagging Radio Milwaukee on social media or shooting us a text at 414-892-8899.
Studio Milwaukee: From the Vault, Weekdays 6-7 p.m.
If you miss going to concerts for live music, tune in for a virtual show weekdays at 6 p.m. The hour long concert will have a local opener and feature Studio Milwaukee sessions from three national artists, courtesy of our Studio Milwaukee Session archive.
414 (not so) Live, Thursdays 5:30-6 p.m.

Kids' Disco, Saturdays 9 a.m.
If you’re a Radio Milwaukee member, you’re familiar with the magic of Kids' Disco. If not, this will be a hands-on opportunity for you and your kiddos to get acquainted with this funky family boogie. Celebrate the start of the weekend and the end of the wiggles!
In the Mix, Saturdays 10 p.m.-2 a.m.
DJ Kenny Perez is *doubling* the hours of his weekly mix of the electronic dance music scene. Get a strobe light app on your phone, turn off the lights and transform your living room into the club with us.
