No need to fear, 88Nine is here with our daily Summerfest must-see picks. So slip on your dancing shoes, warm up your vocals, and perfect your fist pump for some unforgettable Summerfest performances. We've got you covered.
Who? The Naked and Famous

When? 5 PM

Where? Miller Lite Oasis Stage

The electro-pop band The Naked and Famous will be stopping by Summerfest this year and we recommend catching their set. Their signature sound is characterized by heavy drum beats, a synthesizer melody, and Alisa Xayalith’s voice almost crying out their lyrics. Their hits “Young Blood” and “Punching in a Dream” have become summer anthems through the years and we think they will be a lot of fun to see live.

Who? JC Brooks

When? 8 PM

Where? Uline Warehouse Stage

JC Brooks, formerly JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound, is a great pick for Summerfest. He has a retro sound, making catchy 60s and 70s throwback tunes but with a post-punk edge. JC Brooks’s new release Jungle has both upbeat songs that you can definitely dance your butt off to and slower rock songs that you can sway to and enjoy. This will be a great show.

Who? Dead Horses

When? 8 PM

Where? Johnson Control’s World Stage

Dead Horses is a glistening jewel of folk music. Lead singer Sarah Vos has a gorgeous, soft voice that almost glides over their guitar strumming. Their lyrics are comforting, speaking of family and nature. Dead Horses will be a killer show to see live.

Who? Horseshoes & Hand Grenades

When? 10 PM

Where? Johnson Control’s World Stage

Horseshoes & Hand Grenades was founded by five Wisconsinites who now tour all over America, bringing their folky bluegrass sound to thousands of listeners. They will get you clapping, toe tapping, and dancing for hours—a perfect weekend show

Enjoy your weekend!
