I met the homie Seth David a few years ago DJing with his good friend and musical teammate Mike Rende. Together, they were playing awesome events at Summerfest and packing clubs like Site1A and The Miramar as the electronic duo RCKT PWR. Once success started coming their way, management decided that a move to Los Angeles could be amazing for their future. In their new city they got the chance to work with the electronic artist Elephante and play some sick shows on the West Coast. Then of course a major event happened across the globe, Covid-19.
The pandemic put a damper on a lot of things for RCKT PWR, but it never stifled their confidence or drive to keep creating. Through the disruption of this pandemic, Seth chose to not only continue working on electronic music, but he picked up an old love along the way, rap. In my interview I sit down with Seth to talk about his transition from dubstep to rap, his musical influences along the way, and the latest project as Sethinbetween called Meadowood.
