Bring the whole family down to Discovery World to search for eggs throughout the museum while enjoying exhibits like the driving simulator, the Reiman Aquarium, Kohl’s Design It Lab and more!

Betty Brinn Children’s Museum
March 21 | 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Hop into spring at the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum’s first-ever Spring Fling! Meet fluffy bunnies and chicks from Havens Petting Farm, create handprint flowers at the Be A Maker Lab, and decorate a pair of bunny ears to wear at the Bunny Hop from 12:30-1 p.m. with live cello music from 2026 Artist in Residence Malik Johnson. All activities are included with general admission.

Big Bunny Celebration & Easter Egg Hunt
Apple Holler | Sturtevant
March 21-22 | 10:30 a.m. & noon

Embark on a journey with the Country Bunny and make it a day you’ll never forget. Bunny hop through the Big Bunny Tunnel, enjoy interactive storytelling, take a tractor train ride, join the egg hunt in an enchanted forest and meet the Easter Bunny himself. Plus, you’ll get to take home a goodie bag and enjoy a complimentary chocolate chip cookie with warm apple cider.

Sweet Sounds: Unity in the Community

Enjoy live music from talented local artists and a show-stopping finale by Drums Up Guns Down 414. Special guest Miss Wisconsin will share her singing talents, Betty Brinn’s Wonder Wagon will bring fun, and Brass Bell Music Store’s Instrument Petting Zoo will let you try out instruments. Sweeten the day with delicious confections while exploring, arts and crafts, balloon creations, and face painting, plus you can Meet Browser the Library Lion!

Last season, Camille’s Rainbow dazzled little ones and grown-ups alike with its heart, color and sparkle, so it’s back for an encore performance. This 45-minute opera, created just for babies and toddlers (ages 0–3) and their grown-up sidekicks, invites families into Camille’s enchanting world, where music shimmers and colors come to life. Let the adventure begin (again)!

Maple Fest

Celebrate the sweet season of maple syrup at this family-friendly event featuring outdoor fun, hands-on learning and classic farm experiences designed for all ages. You can take a tractor-pulled hayride through the maple trees, check out a maple tree tap demonstration, enjoy live music all day, play interactive games, take part in a maple-themed scavenger hunt and top it all off with a complimentary maple taffy!

Maple Sugar Time
Schlitz Audubon Nature Center | Bayside
March 21 | 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Join the center’s Environmental Educators during the sweetest season of the year. You’ll learn how to tell a maple tree from other species, practice tapping a log with one of our hand drills, discover how the sap is turned into syrup and visit the sweetest station of all for a delicious treat. Arrive anytime and go at your own pace, though it’s best to arrive before 1:30 p.m. if you plan to complete the entire program.

Come to the Milwaukee County Historical Society for this year’s Family Day theme: transportation! Come see how planes, trains, cars and boats have shaped the city. Explore the science behind these technologies, and enjoy activities and displays from the Milwaukee Fire Museum, Dream Bikes, East Troy Electric Railroad Museum and Peine Family Lego. Free to all, with light snacks and drinks available for purchase.
