Dining Out For Life Milwaukee, the annual fundraising event that supports people living with and affected by HIV, has gotten even bigger for 2025, with 20 different locations participating across the four days.
This Thursday through Sunday, Sept. 18-21, local restaurants will donate a percentage of their sales to support Vivent Health’s essential HIV prevention, care and treatment services. The event’s expansion allows for more ways to give back, from enjoying a dinner out to ordering takeout to making a direct donation.
With more establishments participating in the fundraiser than ever before, there are plenty of options for varying tastes and budgets. Some of the places taking part in this year’s Dining Out For Life Milwaukee include Ono Kine Grindz, Lakefront Brewery, Forage Kitchen, The Pasta Tree, Melt Chocolates and Mother’s.
All of the participants have joined the 2025 event to support Vivent Health, which is committed to serving people of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community most impacted by HIV. The local organization works to advance health equity and justice through high-quality, integrated HIV healthcare, social services and prevention.
“Federal cuts will set the fight against HIV back decades,” Vivent Health president and CEO Brandon Hill said in a release. “But in these scary times, we must take back our right to health and happiness in a world that often denies us those things. Dining Out For Life is a delicious way to reclaim communal power, resources and hope.”
