This Wednesday, Oct. 30, Maximiano takes the wheel during the Afternoon Drive for our latest DJ Takeover. You may have recently heard us play the cathartic indie folk ballad “Simple” — one of many deep-rooted musical treasures on Maximiano’s debut album, The Real Truth, that was released in the early days of September.
Maximiano’s music rides waves of Americana, folk, rock, chamber pop and alt-country to traverse the human experience of growth, change, love and heartache. Needless to say, we can expect their playlist to fit our fall listening needs perfectly. They take their turn at the mic starting at 4 p.m. Wednesday to share a whole hour of their favorite songs and most influential artists.
After you hear what they have to offer, you’ll want to catch the band at their next big live show Nov. 23 at Vivarium, where they’ll open for Ryan Necci & The Buffalo Gospel.
