We have a simple goal with our DJ takeovers on the Afternoon Drive: To help you get to know a member of the Milwaukee music scene by inviting them behind the microphone to share a playlist of their favorite artists. The first two were a big success, and we'll keep it going this Wednesday from 4 to 5 p.m., when Fuzzysurf visits our Walker's Point studios.
The Milwaukee band will have plenty to talk about in between songs, one of which will be the debut of their track "Doom or Bloom" off forthcoming double album Chameleons. On top of the new record, they just released the very cinematic video for "Sucky" and — let's hear it for synergy — will perform at State of Sound right here at Radio Milwaukee HQ on Oct. 5 along with Cozy Danger, Hello Face and Caley Conway.
