Last week, we told you about the series Milwaukee Film will unspool throughout the month of June: "Summer CAMP!" — a mixture mostly consisting of movies that lean into the definition of camp as "something so outrageously artificial, affected, inappropriate, or out-of-date as to be considered amusing."
We're talking films like Xanadu, Showgirls and Death Becomes Her, plus a couple "standard" camp movies mixed in (Moonrise Kingdom and Sleepaway Camp). But, while we already gave you the lowdown, it's always best to hear it straight from the horse's mouth, as it were, which is why Dori and Kpolly invited Milwaukee Film GenreQueer programmer Jack Feria to join them for this episode of Cinebuds.
You can hear their full conversation using the player at the top of the page, and be sure to check out the "Summer Camp" schedule below so you can catch one (or more!) of this month's films at the Oriental Theatre.
