Every Saturday night, In the Mix sets the vibe as DJ Kenny Perez mixes up the hottest sounds from the electronic dance music scene, bringing to the forefront some of Milwaukee's most talented DJs and producers.
It’s been a fruitful year for In the Mix. We've had the privilege of welcoming some of the biggest DJs in the world alongside incredibly talented local artists. As I think about our show approaching its 10th anniversary, I never would have imagined we'd have the opportunity to feature a powerhouse producer and DJ like Chris Lake.
The U.K. native continues to be one of the biggest forces in house music, and on “Make You Fight” — one of my favorite new tracks that gets a feature in this episode — he teams up with fellow producer and countryman ATRIP, one of the scene's fastest rising names. The result is a club weapon packed with groove, energy and the kind of bassline that demands movement.
ATRIP has turned heads with festival appearances at Coachella, Glastonbury and ARC while earning support from artists like Jamie xx, Dom Dolla and Barry Can't Swim. Together, he and Lake have delivered a track that feels right at home on dancefloors around the world, and we’re so thrilled to have their guest set in this episode.
