Radio Milwaukee is co-sponsoring a mayoral candidate forum on Feb. 9

Ahead of Milwaukee's mayoral primary on Feb. 15, the candidates for mayor will participate in a forum Wednesday, Feb. 9, at Turner Hall Ballroom.

All seven candidates who are on the ballot have been invited and are expected to appear. They include:

Milwaukee Ald.  Marina Dimitrijevic
Former Milwaukee Ald.  Bob Donovan
Milwaukee community activist  Ieshuh Griffin
Acting Mayor and Milwaukee Common Council President  Cavalier Johnson
Milwaukee County Sheriff  Earnell Lucas
Business owner  Michael Sampson
State Sen.  Lena Taylor

Moderated by Charles Benson, reporter and news anchor at TMJ4, and James Causey, columnist and special projects reporter at the Journal Sentinel, the forum will be co-hosted by the Pabst Theater Group, the Milwaukee Press Club, WisPolitics.com, Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service and Listen MKE. The forum will be free and open to the public. Registration for in-person attendance is required and seating will be limited.

The event also will be livestreamed on the  Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Facebook page.

Community partners for the forum include 88Nine Radio Milwaukee, Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Community Journal, Wisconsin Voices and WNOV 860 AM.
