Milwaukee's underground </br>records center

If is was built or planned in Milwaukee, there's a record of it underground at the Frank P. Zeidler Municipal Building downtown.

That's where the city stores records it is required to keep, such as police and court records, blueprints for government buildings, and plans for the city's neighborhoods before they were built and settled.

OnMilwaukee's Bobby Tanzilo visited the records center for this week's Urban Spelunking and spent hours thumbing through the vast public collection.
