Night to Shine<br>recreates prom night

Long dresses, corsages, music, dancing... what do you remember from your high school prom?

This past weekend, Legacy Church in Menomonee Falls was one of 200 locations to host "Night to Shine," a night of music and dancing for a group of people with special needs who may have missed out on prom in high school.

"Our guests this evening range from 16-63... its sort of like a prom, but unlike a high school prom that you went to where there was one king and one queen, all 95 guests this evening were crowned king or queen."

Jerod Walker from Legacy shares that with hundreds of donations and volunteers, not only was this night made extra-special with help from the community, but it really couldn't have happened without their support.

"All kinds of things were donated from dry-cleaning of dresses, hundreds of dresses were donated, we had seamstresses volunteer to alter the dresses..."

And not to mention a black-limo arrival and welcome from the local police and fire department, this prom night had every last detail down to a T.
