They are confident, they're excited, they're happy, and they're around people who are in wheelchairs... which doesn't always happen!
When it comes to fashion shows, This is How We Roll is one with a great purpose and great outfits but... is a little different than other fashion shows.
"This is an awesome event, the first time that I saw this fashion show I was laughing and crying and cheering.. I was so incredibly happy."
This is How We Roll Fashion Show, completely comprised of models in wheelchairs, is put on every year by the Bryon Riesch Paralysis Foundation (BRPF).
Development Director Janet Curtis explains,
"It's just a very inspiring event, this is our third year."
And what's not to be inspired by? Not only does the fashion show give people in wheelchairs a chance to work it on the runway, but with the outfits being donated or sponsored by local businesses, the audience is filled with friends, family and members of the community.
"It gives the models and their families and friends a chance to see the model in a different light. They are confident, they are excited, they are happy, and their around people who are in wheelchairs... which doesn't always happen!"
And with the event raising awareness and support for BRPF to finding a cure to paralysis, Janet confidently states,
"All in all, a very successful day and event."
