Take a trolley tour of 'Sculpture Milwaukee'

Chances are if you've walked down Wisconsin Ave. between O'donnell Park and 6th Street, you've noticed something different.

22 large scale sculptures have been installed on both sides of the street, representing the work of 21 artists from around the world.

Sculpture Milwaukee opened to the public in June, and now, there's a new way to experience it.

Take a trolley!

Every Wednesday until Oct. 18, you can catch an air-conditioned trolley from the Milwaukee Art Museum and ride along the route.

And the best part?  A trained docent from the art museum rides with you, narrating the tour with interesting facts about the exhibit and stopping at every sculpture.

The tour is $15 for adults at $5 for kids age 12 and under.  The trolley departs at 1:30 p.m. sharp.

Sculpture Milwaukee ends Oct. 22., and plans are already in the works for a similar exhibition in 2018.

Click the player below to meet the docent and to listen in on a recent tour.
