88Nine Block Party VIP Experience
On June 24, 88Nine Radio Milwaukee will be celebrating our 10th anniversary with a free block party. If you want more of a unique experience to enjoy the festivities, you can purchase VIP tickets to the 88Nine Block Party presented by Educators Credit Union. All VIP ticket purchases are a tax-deductible donation to Radio Milwaukee. VIP tickets cost $100 (kids 12 & under are free). The VIP Experience includes:
- Enhanced amenities such as air conditioning, indoor bathrooms and indoor bars
- Access to the first floor VIP outdoor patio
- Exclusive access to headliner sessions and interviews in our performance space - these performances will happen in between outside entertainment, so for VIPs, the music will never stop!
- 2:15 p.m. - Jordan Lee explores the forthcoming Field Report album with lead singer Chris Porterfield and producer Daniel Holter. Chris and Daniel will discuss the creation process that took place in Milwaukee, and Chris will perform previously unheard material.
- 3:45 p.m. - Timothy Showalter, lead singer of Strand of Oaks, will perform a stripped down acoustic session with interview by Ken Sumka.
- 5 p.m. - Our special surprise guest performer will takeover our airwaves as a guest DJ with Justin Barney.
- Two complimentary food servings:
- 3-5 p.m. - Taqueria El Jefe
- 10-11 p.m. - Transfer Pizzeria Café
- Admission to the official 88Nine After Party from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m.
- DJed by your favorite 88Niners
- Access to the 88Nine green rooftop
