Spencer AKA Crystal Knives is a music producer from Waukesha, WI, and is in love with the future bass and trap music sound. His inspiration came from listening to artists like The Glitch Mob and Ratatat to name a few. As a jazz drummer & classical percussionist, he feels that the most important part of making music is to create something people can connect with on a musical and emotional level.
He is a member of Swang Collective along with artists such as Ship Wrek, Part Native, Take/Five, and several others. In the past year he has released tracks with Far East Movement's label Brednbutter Records, Artist Intelligence Agency, Higher Needs and more. In addition to originals, Crystal Knives has released several unofficial remixes of tracks like G-Eazy's 'Me, Myself and I' and Calvin Harris' 'This is What You Came For.' His remixes have garnered hundreds of thousands of plays and even attracted support from artists like Zeds Dead and Ookay. Stay tuned for more in 2017!
