2010 is coming to an end, and that means it is the season of lists. Milwaukee artists and bands have put out some amazing releases in 2010. However, one Milwaukee release that has been overlooked and under the radar is electronic producer Lorn's album "Nothing Else" released on Flying Lotus' label Brainfeeder. His album has been a mainstay on 88Nine's Rhythm Lab Radio throughout the year and was a Rhythm Lab album of the week. Lorn's debut released a sonic force of darkness, melody and soul. I was totally blown away when I saw him performed at the first Unlooped event back in June. Pitchfork to the BBC has praised his debut released. Lorn has even played at the impressive Moog Fest back in October in North Carolina.
