The Jewish Community Center's Food Pantry has risen out of the water from its previous location (where it was destroyed in last year's flood), and provides healthy, fresh food, books,infant's clothing and toys, and even Kosher food! I spoke with organizers, volunteers, and patrons of the pantry (please excuse my alliteration) about the importance of this neighborhood anchor (The JCC Food Pantry is located at 2930 W. Center Street).
