Be Heard: Hip-Hop Hates HIV/AIDS Benefit

Tonight is the 3rd edition of Hip-Hip Hates, and this time it's focused on hating HIV/AIDS. The benefit is raising money for the Aids Resource Center of Wisconsin and it kicks off at 10 p.m. at the Cactus Club in Bay View.

The official line up for the show is: Prophetic, Streetz-n-Young Deuces, Lah Kid, and Pacino. DJ Bizzon of WMSE's The Mad Kids show is the house DJ and JC Poppe will be hosting the event.

Sponsors of the benefit include: The Onion/AV Club Milwaukee, WMSE, True Skool, MODA3, and Cactus Club.

Minimum donation at the door is $5 and DJ Bizzon will start at 10 p.m. The first show will begin at 10:30 p.m.

If you hate HIV/AIDS and want to listen to some hip-hop, then you can find more information here

Kallao and I sat down in studio with JC Poppe and Prophetic to hear all about tonight's event and the impact it has on a community at large.
