The League of Sustainability Superheroes came to the rescue of CharBee (that is, Charlie Koenin of Beepods). Why? Well, Charbee wanted to create a home that could work "off-grid", so he enlisted the help of Dan Felix ( Transition Milwaukee), Andor Mark Horvath (sustainability sensei,and owner of A2 Design) and their trusty sidekick, Tyler (Dan's son).
I brought MY trusty sidekick, Naima (a 19-month-old Border Collie) and watched them transform a freezer into a refrigerator, slam together a series of solar panels, and essentially transform Chabee's domicile into a sustainable superhome.
