Just wanted to hip you to the new Ana Tijoux video just released. "Shock" is the lead single from Sound Travels/Rhythm Lab fave Ana Tijoux's new album La Bala, due out at the end of January. I'm straight up telling you, this album is the freshness. A must have for early 2012, not speaking Spanish is no barrier to the beats and Ana's style is quality. She has this nice tonality and a natural and rhythmic cadence in her delivery that makes it easier to hear the lines she rhymes, and the beats are cinematic in their boom-bap-- simply amazing.
