Community Health centers serve millions of Americans every year. They provide primary health care services for people who need to be covered, but don’t have immediate access to services.

he alth centers operate around the country including Progressive Community Health Center, with two locations in Milwaukee.
Sarah Andritsch, a fund raising and marketing manager at Progressive says they serve a lot of patients who may not otherwise have access to quality health and dental care.
“The first step for every patient is coming in and verifying your insurance. If you don’t have insurance, then our financial counselor will help you apply or they will help you apply for our sliding fee scale.”
Insured or not, Progressive works with people in Milwaukee to help deter unnecessary and costly visits to the ER and avoid more serious issues down the line.
