More good vibrations, reggae for your week on Sound Travels, and now two ways to listen, as a mix and as individual tracks. Either way, you can't lose. Not with these tunes; like the Lee "Scratch" Perry produced project, Zap Pow. "Last War" is some crucial business, and Collie Buddz rode that freshness on the hottest single from his breakout self-titled debut. "Come Around" is all about a never-ending search for what sinjay Gyptian sings about in "Sensi," and also perhaps the best song in an already-dope catalogue.
Since we're keeping track, it might be noted that Fidel Nadal is one of the highest profile reggae artists in Latin and South America. "Yuh Don't Know" is an addiction of mine, I can't explain what he's saying nor why I love this song so much, a steady burner. I also had I-Wayne in the mix today, an artist I keep wishing had a better body of work. Some of his songs are amazing enough to find their way into every reggae set for a year, and others not even worth listening to. And I ended the mix with Chuck Fenda, an artist I overlooked for years...and I'm still not sure why I did that, he's got plenty good jams.
And as promised, I have the minimix and the individual cuts for you to listen in any way you want...
