African Reggae Roots

Sound Travellin' with more reggae this week and just like yesterday, all of it African. One of the bigger names in the African reggae scene started the action, Ivoirien Alpha Blondy with his classic tune railing against police brutality "Brigadier Sabary." Also, Nigerian Chief Checker in there with a Malian band called Bafing Kul. From the tiny African island nation of Reunion, Tonton David at the set's end with a hot little cut about what's not cool.
