Every day during the lunch hour, a door opens in downtown Milwaukee.
Inside the Cathedral of St. John's the Evangelist, volunteers serve up to 200 free meals daily at the Open Door Cafe.
The cafe serves anyone who is hungry and hasn't turned anyone away in its 25 year history.
From 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday through Friday, the cafe serves a hot, nutritious meal. And after those hours Monday through Friday, volunteers also serve bagged lunches to people who drop in.
The cafe also provides hygiene kits to its homeless guests.
